The Rand Tower Hotel

Style, History, and Superior Comfort

Minneapolis is filled with nightlife, restaurants, and beautiful sights that are unique to this historic midwestern city. Centrally located in Downtown Minneapolis is the Rand Tower, a newly renovated boutique hotel filled with both history and exciting new adventures for its guests.

The Rand Tower was built in 1929 and designed by Holabird & Root for Rufus R. Rand, a World War I aviator who was also a member of the family that owned the Minneapolis Gas Company. The Rand Tower has been converted into a luxurious, one-of-a-kind hotel which welcomes visitors into a contemporary piece of the past.

Rand Tower Hotel falls under the umbrella of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio and serves as a “tribute” to its namesake, Mr. Rufus R. Rand himself.
